Current Synthetic and Systems Biology is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in experimental and theoretical aspects of the function of biological systems at the molecular, cellular or organismal level, in particular those addressing the engineering of biological systems, network modelling, quantitative analyses, integration of different levels of information and synthetic biology

Current Synthetic and Systems Biology is a peer reviewed scientific journal known for rapid dissemination of high-quality research. This Current Synthetic and Systems Biology Journal with high impact factor offer an open access platform to the authors in academia and industry to publish their novel research. It serves the International Scientific Community with its standard research publications.

Synthetic biology currently has no generally accepted definition, and it is defined in various ways depending on the specific discipline or use. Because it is an emergent area of research, utilized in multiple fields of study, numerous definitions are found in literature. Yet, all definitions touch upon a common concept: the creation of new biological systems via the synthesis or assembly of artificial or natural components.

This journal is using Editorial Tracking System for quality in review process. Editorial Tracking is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. Editorial board members of Current Synthetic and Systems Biology journal or outside experts review the manuscripts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript.
