The journal of coastal zone management has completed 19 years of its existence in the field of publishing from the year 2001. It is one of the most reputed journals in the Longdom Publishing.

It is an open access journal which mainly focuses on improving the coastal zone. The journal aims to gather the relevant information with the help of Geoscientists, Oceanographers, Marine biologists, Estuarine Scientists, Coastal engineers/Ocean engineers, Marine chemists & geo-chemists, Marine biogeochemists, Marine archaeologist, Coastal ecologists, Academicians, Farmers and Fishing communities, Corporate entities, National and International NGOs, activists, Policymakers and students to propagate the knowledge worldwide.

The primary motto of our Journal is to publish and report the trustworthy discoveries, improvements and new principle research works that are being done in the field of coastal zone management. The journal has released a current issue with the best topics on Geochemical indices, Sea Dykes, Coastal zone management, Integrated multiple species aquaculture

Ocky Karna Radjasa is the Editor in Chief of this journal. He is a professor of marine microbiology at Diponegoro University of Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. His research interest is primarily focused on marine molecular microbial diversity and marine microbial natural products from marine microbial symbionts. He is currently working to screen marine microbial symbionts against Multi Drug Resistant (MDR) pathogens from Indonesian local hospitals supported by USAID and University of California Santa Cruz and fungal symbionts of corals for the treatment of cancer in collaboration with 5 EU-countries. He concerned much about the use of coral reefs in sustainable manner.

The journal releases several special issues related to integrated coastal zone management, marine and coastal biodiversity, coastal engineering and management and marine and spatial planning.

On completion of 19 years in publishing Journey. The Journal is accepting articles for the upcoming issue to promote quality research from across the nations of the globe to encourage the latest research in the field of coastal zone management
