Prof. Qiang Shawn Chen is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Center for Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology, the Biodesign Institute and the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University, United States. Prof. Qiang Shawn Chen, completed his PhD from University of Arizona, United States. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry directing research in therapeutic protein development in both plant and mammalian cell culture systems. His current research interests include advanced techniques in biology, development of protein-based therapeutics, expression and assembly of monoclonal antibodies and designing novel mAb fusion proteins to enhance their targeting, safety, and efficacy against infectious diseases and cancers and vaccines in plant systems. He has been serving as an editorial board member as well as reviewer for various national and International Journals.
